Volunteer Caitlin Cross in Ghana Kasoa medical program. "I am very excited about this program because of my studies in Global Health and HIV/AIDS. I would like the opportunity to use the skills I have learned through work experience and formal studies in an international setting".

This image represents something that is very important to me: music. While at Clemson, I have had the opportunity to experience many different genres of music. Through this, I have learned new ideas, met new people, and opened my mind to new things. I chose this image because music is such an integral part of my life.

I've been working at the computer lab in the town center, Madre Triny, teaching basic computer classes with my friend Becky. The little kid in front, Samuel, is my favorite student... he doesn't listen much and is quite a smart-aleck, and in that regard reminds me a lot of myself.

1- How was the local ABV Coordinator/staff and the support provided in-country?
Maria Elena was amazing! She had all the right information and gave the most helpful tips. She gave me a quick tour of the city on the first day, which was nice. She also made sure that I was comfortable and that I had everything that I needed. She gave me her 100% support, and I really appreciated that.
