It was the longest time that I waited for taking a sunset photo…I found the right place around 2 p.m. in Riomaggiore…As this is very touristic village, I decided to wait all afternoon long to keep this place…I was right…There were around 200 people around waiting for this great sunset…I’m glad that there are many sunset lovers in this universe…So, it was around 11p.m. when I finished my photo taking session…A little bit late for the great Italian dinner, but it’s worth it…;) BeNowMeHere, Riomaggiore, Cinque Terre, Italy, 2015 via 500px ift.tt/1NbcDjH
After several days of rain and fog I came home on Tuesday to this view. The clouds were rolling off and just as the day was finishing up, the sun peaked out for some nice little color. Good times!
Still water and clear sky as we transition from winter to spring. Our goal was to capture a beautiful sunset on the first Spring evening paddle.

Just like the UK, Croatia has had an unusual period of heavy rain prior to our arrival. A few guests we spoke to had been holed up in their rooms for the best part of the week such was the downpours. Luckily, it was back to glorious sunshine the day we arrived. This was taken on our second night and the only day we saw a cloud so I'm afraid this is as good as it gets for sunsets.
The near buildings are the harbour of Živogošće and in the distance is Igrane with the sun setting behind.

A sunset photo taken at Lake Ahquabi last summer. The wispy clouds almost look like colored brush strokes across the evening sky. Lake Ahquabi State Park is in Warren County, Iowa and features a 115-acre reservoir for swimming, fishing, boating and other activites.
