My attempt here was to draw the eye towards the subject, which (hopefully) is obviously the upside down car, with the “s curve”. In order to do this you have to step way back and use a telephoto lens for perspective compression. I'm not sure if the result works, but I * think * that the swoop of the lines formed by the “track” are pleasing to the eye, plus I really liked the colors of the picture.
A little about the processing of this shot. I started in NX2, which I haven't used in WAY too long, and did all the colors and levels in there. I saved one with the warm colors that are seen throughout the picture, and one with a much cooler temperature for the car. I layered the cool temp picture on top of the warm one and using a layer mask, brought just the color of the car through in Paint Shop Pro.
I also did some selective sharpening with the “Topaz Detail 2” plug-in, using some masking to only apply the sharpening to certain parts (most notably the car).
After that I imported the image in to Photoshop Elements 9 (downloaded the trial edition yesterday, just to check out “content aware fill”). I used the content aware heal brush to get rid of several distractions like wires, poles and cables. Overall I was very happy with the content aware capabilities and will probably buy PSE just for that alone. One thing it did not succeed at, however, was getting rid of the palm branch and leaves near the top right of the “track”. I had to use PSP's good ol' clone brush with some masking to make this look good.
After that a little bit of dodge and burn, and channel mixer for colors, and there you have it.
Total process took me a little over an hour.

Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, Disney's Hollywood Studios, Walt Disney World Resort
Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you're having a great day!

Just your average, run of the mill shot of the entrance to Rock 'N' Rollercoaster in Disney's Hollywood Studios. I tried flipping the image so the car was right side up and pondered posting that.. buttttttt.. after the most intense internal struggle ever, I decided not to!
Okay, the decision wasn't that hard. I wanted to stick to the basics and obtain a classic shot for this one.
Hope you enjoy!
From this perspective, it looks as if Mickey is leading a parade of palm trees.

Thanks for looking. I appreciate feedback!
Panoramic view of Hollywood, Los Angeles from the hills. The street on the center left is Sunset Boulevard, famous for a large collection of billboards on the thoroughway. Hollywood Blvd can be seen to the left of the panorama. Many Hollywood studios, including Paramount, are located on the right cluster.
Paranormal Willow at an art gallery.
Interesting little story about this fashion. A year or two ago, this doll was revealed on the W! club and it was a strange looking Giselle wearing a vintage fashion. I had never heard of Sunset Boulevard at the time, but the description said she had a nu.face body and I thought this fashion would look AMAZING on my Paranormal Willow who just got a nu.face body! It was later revealed the original email had a slight error....that the doll did NOT have a nu.face body, but instead, the brides of dracula/victoire body!
I already pre ordered her and Im not one to cancel. When she arrived, she would not resell, not even for less than retail. I ended up hanging on to the doll and now the original doll that the fashion was for, is wearing the fashion thanks to a body transplant! :)
Sunset Blvd | In-N-Out Burger Sign 08/12/2009 14h12
One of the best burgers you can get when you are in California are sold here at In-N-Out Burger. A basic menu with burgers, fries and shakes. Their icon burger is the Double-Double cheeseburger.
In-N-Out Burger
In-N-Out Burger is a regional chain of fast food restaurants with locations in the Western United States. Founded in 1948 by Harry Snyder and his wife Esther, and headquartered in Irvine, California, In-N-Out Burger has since expanded outside Southern California to the rest of the state, and to Arizona, Nevada, and Utah. In-N-Out has never franchised, and plans to remain privately owned. There are currently 240 locations (as of November 2009) with no location more than one day's drive from the Irvine headquarters. The company's business practices have been noted for employee-centric personnel policies. For example, In-N-Out is one of the few fast food chains in the United States to pay its employees significantly more than state and federally-mandated minimum wage guidelines – starting at $10 per hour in California, as of January 2008.
The In-N-Out restaurant chain has developed a loyal customer base, and has been rated as one of the top fast food restaurants in several customer satisfaction surveys.

The Studios is somewhat of a divisive park. Some people complain that there isn't enough to do (not true), while others love the little details, perfect ambiance, and wonderful balance of attractions (all true). One thing, however, seems indisputable: that the park looks absolutely stunning during the Golden Hour.
In my opinion, no park looks better during the Golden Hour. This is primarily true near the park entrance, on Hollywood Boulevard, on Sunset Boulevard, and near Echo Lake. The reason these areas look so awesome during the Golden Hour? All that neon, which balances perfectly with the dusk sky (exposure-wise), and creates an explosion of vibrancy that is quite the ocular party. Moreover, from my experience, the Golden Hour is always just better when I'm at the Studios. I have no way to prove this, but I think the Disney powers that be control whatever scientific "stuff" it is in the air overhead at the Studios that just makes the Golden Hour there prettier.
I've assembled a new gallery of some recent shots that are inspirational/aspirational to me. Please view the New Gallery Here.

Ooh! Hold up! I’m not done with my Shopping Spree 2015 just yet! My thought bubble says “Wrap it up bitch!”… Anyways, I digress. So I got the Sunset Boulevard Norma Desmond head from a trade and I would love to transform her and create a One-of-a-Kind doll from this Giselle head. Thank god I wouldn’t feel guilty applying acetone on her face! But right now I’m just not up to creating art. I’m pre-occupied with other things. So many projects that are put on halt. I need some free time y’all! I also got this Z Style Kit Monsieur Z head from Ebay. It’s from the Dolly Style Convention held in Tokyo, Japan in 2006 so it says in the package. It’s one of three design kits. It comes with the doll head, a pair of plastic shoes, sewing accessories and a pre-printed cut and sew dress pattern. It seems to be a rare one as I don’t see a lot of photos of these Z Style Kit heads. I just think she’s super cute with her full bangs. Gaining an interest on Monsieur Z just goes to show that I’m obsessed with anything Integrity Toys! I’m a dolly addict! Out of control crazy! There are four other Monzieur Z dolls I actually like and I want them all upgraded in either old Nu.Face body or Monogram body. Lastly I have Sparkle, Poppy, Sparkle Poppy Parker head that I also got from a trade. Admittedly there’s just no room for Poppy in my collection. But I guess Poppy heads wouldn’t be so bad if they’re all sharing one QuickSwitch body, right? I just LOVE the idea that Mood Changers Poppy introduced and hopefully we’ll see that done for FR. I’m still on the hunt for a red head Poppy and this might be it. I want to reroot her hair with a darker shade of red. Also she needs a side part. I'm not too fond of some of the Mod era hairstyles.

I'm really getting "the itch" to go back. Winter is over here in Indianapolis, and we're now left with that nasty time of year where the grass is soggy and nasty, nothing is in bloom yet, and overcast days are the norm.
What I would give for an 85 degree day in the lazy river at Typhoon Lagoon!
This, as you may recognize, is a service elevator, still in operation, waiting for you. We invite you, if you dare, to step aboard because in tonight's episode, you are the star. And this elevator travels directly to... The Twilight Zone.
This is a picture of the top of one of the "service elevators" (ride vehicle) that takes you to the eleventh floor of Disney's Hollywood Studios' The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror attraction.

While strolling around on my last trip, I decided to try some now shots and angles. In front of Toluca Legs, theres a bunch of these beautiful red flowers that I thought looked pretty cool. Anyways, here is the result of that shot. Definitely different from my normal shots, but I hope you enjoy it. Have a great upcoming week everyone!

Thanks for looking. I appreciate feedback!
Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith (commonly referred to as simply Rock 'n' Roller Coaster) is an enclosed steel roller coaster ride at Disney's Hollywood Studios at the Walt Disney World Resort and at the Walt Disney Studios Park in Disneyland Paris. The Florida ride opened on 29 July 1999 and is located at the end of Sunset Boulevard, next to The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror attraction. - wiki
One of the things I really like about Hollywood Studios are all the classical styled billboards. While they're mostly limited to Hollywood and Sunset, I feel it really sets the stage for what the park is trying to accomplish. I noticed this angle after my parents stopped to get an icee to cool off on our last visit. I'm not really sure what the main subject is now that I look at it, and might changed a few things, but I still think its interesting. Then again, I think I'm also becoming a sucker for anything with bright colors and white puffy clouds in the shot...

Statler and Waldorf encourage you to "Un-fave" this picture as I had to go and mess it up with a pig.
Believe it or not, after 2 years of posting, this is my first shot that includes the Tower of Terror. Amazing I know. This shot was a lot of fun to edit, but also a complete pain thanks to the lights on the left. In the end I compromised between flare amount and showing off the sky. Just some quick technical bits about this shot. I thought it might be fun to start including this information on some of my shots. Thanks for looking!
5 shot bracket blended in Photomatix. 6 layer masks. 5 adjustment layers.
P.S. View on large for stars!

[yeah, again, I'm a day late.]
See where this picture was taken. [?]
On Saturdays, I include a "sound" to go with the "sight"... click the link to here some audio!
This shot was a tough edit. I intentionally underexposed by 2 full stops in order to properly expose "Aerosmith". By doing this, the "studio" foreground was WAY underexposed. ISO100 gave me some room to work with, but the noise levels after bringing up the levels in the foreground were probably equal to ISO1600.
