Today's sunset, captured from the 34th floor of our condo building. On one side you can see the sunset and on the other the light is reflected on the Toronto cityline, turning it pink.
Thanks for your visits and stay blessed:)
A colorful sunset capture from 4th Avenue in Seattle over the Thanksgiving weekend. I was thankful there was no drizzle that day!
I couldn't post one w/o the other. My first work in photoshop. I took out cars by the brick wall and stickers in the windows. BTW Metallic paint is a booger to get the color right,.
This is a sunset capture taken from Angels Landing in Zion National Park. After a fairly tough hike this capture is one of the scenes that you are rewarded with. Nikon D2x 18-200vr
Left for the beach hoping for a beautiful sunset shot. By the time we reached the beach, as it often happens, a thick fog layer rolled in & blocked my beautiful sunset. Captured this instead. Typical San Diego Bay...

I absolutely love this photo I took of Dil Varna Burnu from our boat trip along the coast from Alanya. The Mediterranean never fails to astound me with it's views!

Yes, you guessed it, another backdoor sunset capture. You wouldn't believe it if I told you of all the sunsets that I have captured from this very spot! :)
Melbourne's skyline after sunset. Captured from Southbank with Princes Bridge and the Yarra river in the foreground.
Tucson 3/12/2025. A second wave of the storm sunset captured late in night mode with a near-full moon peeking through over the Catalinas.
Beautiful #sunset captured in transit from Calais to Dover. Cargo ship is destined to horizon with adds unique dimension to the photograph.
..i took several shots when i had my first sunset capture. this is one of those and i guess more to follow... ;-)
These three works are composite images. The foreground layer (MLK Jr. Memorial) were captured with my Canon T7i recently. The light on the stone was a great orange shade from the setting sun but the background was unremarkable. I took a sunset image I took with my Sony a6000 last fall along the Georgetown Waterfront, and replaced the boring background with those sunset shots. The lighting lines up since the sunset captured was in the direction it would logically have been if you could see it in the background of these shots of the memorial.
A series of a sunset captured in soap bubbles blown by the kids. The backdrop is a tinted window on an RV.
The light in the bubbles caught my eye. The autofocus on the Rebel XTi made this possible.
SINCE I AM UNABLE TO RETURN YOUR COMMENTS RIGHT NOW, THIS WILL BE MY LAST POST UNTIL I AM ABLE TO RECIPROCATE AND REALLY GET TO MY BEACH AND TAKE MY FIRST SUNSET, SINCE I HAVE BEEN ILL.
SO I SINCERELY THANK YOU FOR YOUR WONDERFUL GOODWILL WISHES, AND PRAYER'S. AND SEND YOU THIS UNTIL I ACTUALLY DO REACH THE BEACH AND CAPTURE A CURRENT SUNSET!
THANK YOU EACH AND EVERYONE,
I WILL SOON BE BACK AND RESPOND TO EVERYONE OF YOUR COMMENTS.
SENDING LOVE AND HAPPINESS YOUR WAY,
