For our anniversary, we dined at the Oasis Restaurant in Austin, Texas. Fortunately we had a warm evening to enjoy front row seats of an awesome sunset.

Caught this pretty sunset on my way home from a weekend in Big Sur. I've only been to this spot along the coast once (for this sunset), and really need to go back and do some more exploring!

Summer sunset from cliffs above Secret Cove, one of a series of beaches located along remote east shore of Lake Tahoe, on the Nevada side of the lake.
At a surface elevation of 6,225 ft (1,897 m), Lake Tahoe is located in the Sierra Nevada mountains along the border between California and Nevada. Lake Tahoe is the largest alpine lake in North America.

I was on my way home from Pones Incorporated (my slingshot company) when I noticed the sun going down so I took a photo of it with my iPhone.

Just a quick upload before work as I woke up earlier than I intended to and could not get back to sleep; here is a portion (not cropped or reduced from a larger image, just zoomed in more on one section of horizon rather than the sky as a whole) of the fiery, intense twilight sky last Friday night, when I knew there would be intense atmospherics due to the fact that the weather spent the entire day shifting between drizzly overcast to bright, hot sunshine!

Another September sunset. Such a pretty sky..
Some days I find it really hard to get a shot I'm happy with for my 365. Other days I have more than one to choose from! Today was one of those days where I couldn't decide which one to put in my 365. As it's my sister's 50th birthday today, she had to go in my 365 but this evening a storm came over at dusk - we had a double rainbow and an impressive stormy sunset so I couldn't resist popping out again and getting a few more shots! This one is sooc except for slight crop and watermark.
