Last night's sunset from the Sandy River behind my house here in Brightwood.
The sunset really started to get going and then fell flat on its face again. There was color and these cool crepuscular rays for about one or two minutes and then poof... gone.
I had a wonderful day with my mom. There was only her and I but we cooked enough to feed a small army of barbarians. Portions of ham are divided and put away in the freezer for more meals this week. Mom made a pineapple upside down cake, which was my dad's favorite and I remember mom making them for him when I was a boy. I miss him allot.
I hope that everyone had a great weekend.
