Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, looking west across the intracoastal waterway. The landscape and sunsets here are alien to me; nothing like those in my native south Georgia countryside. This one kind of reminded me of a sunset painted on a blue butterfly wing pendant I cherished as a kid; the orange was so intense you could taste it.
Captured this amazing sky during a sunset near my home. Just managed to get the sun setting to the left of the trees before it went down.

Quick first ride on the bike after tearing my calf muscle last weekend, used the sunset as a test run on the leg and hoped to get some nice sunset shots, didn't go as big as I thought it would but still nice.

I wanted to try a pan because I felt the sunset had such a moody look to it at this point. Now when I look at it I get the same feeling I felt while watching it. There was a planet in the sky and you can see it as a light streak at the top of the photo.
