An afterglow is a strip of rose-colored light in the sky that you sometimes see after the sun goes down, or before the Sun goes up.You should look for the afterglow after you watch the sunset.
While an afterglow is actually caused by dust in the atmosphere, the radiant, glowing effect in the sky is much more beautiful than this makes it sound.

This summer is quiet so far, besides getting an internship in Berlin for September which I'm REALLY excited about, and Rona coming to visit me in 9 days!

Post sunset colors on Anna Maria Island, FL. I loved how the sand appeared to have purplish-pink hues.

Was lucky enough to be let out of work early enough to race to Porthcawl to catch the amazing sunset. This was taken on the edge of a rather large rock pool.
Unfortunately messed up exposing for the shadows and not sure I can do any post processing to fix!
