Caught this beautiful sunset during walk in Reykjavik harbour. High winds from the day before had calmed down which resulted in a calm mirror-like sea.
I don't know where i came up with the name. I just like it. Anyone else have any ideas comments below!
This shot was taken a while ago. Family day in Ontario. Hope you guys like it!
More often than not, cameras fail to capture a sunset in its full glory. But every once in a while...

Went down to North Avoca with Tim Bolger (this is his shot from the sunset: www.flickr.com/photos/timbolger/5372710758/) to shoot sunset. Took a while to find a comp that I liked. As the sun was setting I had my big stopper on and missed the pink clouds, but I got this just before sunset. Definitely a place I will be heading back to and reshoot, maybe a sunrise next time... (now I know how to find the place).
Every sleepy light
Must say goodbye
To day before it dies
In a sea of honey
A sky of honey
Keep us close to your heart
So if the skies turn dark
We may live on in
Comets and stars...

Taken at Burnham on Crouch Essex.
The river crouch is the next largest river to the river Thames.
This photo has been on Flickr in my first stream and maybe made Explore, but I do not get any photos Explored any more - I have been 'blacked' like so many other contributors to make way for new Flickr contributors. My previous 'Explore' photos were about 120, BUT who cares as it does not mean anything - but it is discrimination nevertheless - I just thought I'd mention this as others have suffered the same fate - another reason for not paying to be a 'PRO' member.
This photo is from my 2009 collection and I will be uploading or re-uploading some more over the next week or so. All are taken with my dear old reliable D40 which normally accompanies me to the UK when I visit as it is light and uncomplicated.
