I wanted to try a pan because I felt the sunset had such a moody look to it at this point. Now when I look at it I get the same feeling I felt while watching it. There was a planet in the sky and you can see it as a light streak at the top of the photo.

It's so helpful to have a dog with a good "stay" that is willing to hold a pose while I snap away :-)
