Tramonto.
Non ci credereste mai, ma questa foto è stata scattata da un balcone a Milano una sera dello scorso dicembre. I colori del cielo erano ben saturi, spezzati dal bianco delle nuvole, e, nel primo piano, gli alberi privi di foglie che ben si prestavano a tale spettacolo della natura. Anche in una città spesso citata per i suoi alti livelli di urbanizzazione ed inquinamento.
Sunset.
You won't believe it, but this picture was taken last december in Milan. The colors of the sky were so saturated, broken by the white of the clouds, and, on the foreground, the leafless trees that well suited this awesome view of nature. Even in a city mostly famous for its high level of urbanization and pollution.

This was sunset at Fort Myers Beach a few weeks ago. We've had some incredible sunsets down here.
I was shooting this egret for about five minutes, trying not to scare him away. I started about 30 feet away, then quietly moved a few feet closer, then tiptoed up a few feet closer yet and he still didn't move. After a few minutes, the color in the sky was starting to fade, so I thought it would be cool to get a shot of him flying away. I cranked up the ISO and opened up the f-stop a bit, then picked up a shell from the beach and tossed it towards him. No reaction at all. So I pick up another shell and toss it a little closer to him. Still, no reaction. So, I throw another shell landing just a foot from his legs. Nothing. So, now i start throwing shells, actually trying to hit him, and he just won't budge. After a few more tosses, I actually hit him with one. He turns and looks at me defiantly. Like he was saying… WHAT??? SCREW YOU!!! I WAS HERE FIRST! I'M NOT MOVING!!!

I'll soon be moving from Glossop in Derbyshire to Hightown. After doing some work on the new house my fiance and I went for a walk and saw this wonderful sunset.

I just liked what the 85mm did to the perspective of the fishermen in the distance, and then this couple strolled by. At first I started cursing them for walking in "my frame", but I personally think it worked out quite well.
The sunset yesterday evening. I was just about to light up the BBQ when I saw the sky and decided to take a quick drive down to Lucas Point for a few shots. I should have taken the tripod for some HDR shots.
I enjoyed a wonderful sunset at Lough Conn. Many thanks for likes and comments!
