I really like this one; definitely one of my own favorites. Sunset actually looked very much like this minus the darker foreground.
I've started to pay more conscious attention to framing my shots.
A sunset shot from Kalbarri. The weather during our trip has not been kind and it was not looking good tonight as there were no clouds but perseverance paid off.
So Mother Nature decided to be nice this evening and I was stuck in boring place with a 60mm macro lens on my camera. I was so frustrated that I'm not even going to remove that annoying light standard on the left :-)
Colorful summer sunset on the west side of Springfield, IL thanks to high clouds left over from storms earlier in the afternoon.
The Fire Services have been back burning in preparation for the Summer. Yesterday the smoke in the valleys gave a spectacular sunset.

Another shot from sunset at Cronulla! I love the colour and the formation of the clouds.
If you were out and about on Friday evening in SE Michigan, then you saw what could have been the most spectacular sunset of the year, in my opinion.
As the sun went down, the more dramatic and beautiful color changes there were in the sky and clouds.
I happened to be on Belle Isle at the time and people were pulling over left and right to take pictures! What an amazingly beautiful night it was! The sun seemed to be taking it's time going down, too.... as if it were showing off, lol. ^_^
This photo here is from early on, though I did capture the night sky light show as the night progressed. =)

I had to pull my car over shoulder to take this pic. Not sure of the exact location but it was somewhere in on I-39 South,between Chicago and Bloomington -IL
