Coming back from Pelee Island I noticed everyone heading out to the deck. When I looked outside I saw this amazing sunset. Affixed my 70-200, metered to the feft, recomposed and the editted to taste!
It was a golden hour sunset stroll as the sun was setting yesterday evening along Pensacola Beach, Florida. The sky was lit up with beautiful goldest orange colors.

Sunset comes so early at this time of year. This fisherman had already landed some fish and he was happy with his catch . The sea was like silk and looked so tranquil. A beautiful sunset in a beautiful setting .

HBM everyone! Hope you had a great day! We did our annual picnic, and had such a lovely evening. This is what we saw as the sun set.
Question: If I straightened the horizon, the foreground would have been on an angle. I thought the foreground was the strong element and should be straight. Opinions??
Out Wednesday night for the sunset at one of my favourite locations in the Peaks with a few photographers from the High Peak Photographic Society (and few thousand midges!!!), we arrived at Carhead Rocks with the sun sitting behind a solid bank of thick cloud but the area around the horizon was fairly clear so it looked promising for the sunset.
Luckily it all worked out fairly well and the sun finally pushed through the gap giving us a nice bit of warm light over the landscape for a few minutes to finish the day.(0.4sec f6.3 @ 12mm 0.9 + 0.6 reverse ND grad filters)
A sunset shot from Kalbarri. The weather during our trip has not been kind and it was not looking good tonight as there were no clouds but perseverance paid off.
I know its a cliche but never mind - I still like it.
There just doesn't seem to be much Flickr time at the moment. But nevertheless, I'll try and stop by your photostreams sometime soon to say 'hello' ...
So Mother Nature decided to be nice this evening and I was stuck in boring place with a 60mm macro lens on my camera. I was so frustrated that I'm not even going to remove that annoying light standard on the left :-)
