Another great sunset last night.
Arrived just a little too late but managed this shot of Mither Tap silhouetted against the amazing sky.
The white dot on the summit was a hillwalker probably using a head-torch

A fiery sunset over peaceful pine flatwoods and wetlands of South Florida a few evenings ago. A mix of clouds and smoke from prescribed burns that day produced a colorful vibrant painting in the sky as the sun made its way below the western horizon. T’was quite a sight to see! 🌅

Milicz Ponds, Lower Silesia, Poland
Birds’ paradise
The Barycz River swampy valley was chosen for the complex of fish ponds built in the 13th/14th centuries. Today the ponds serve as the habitat for many species of water and mud birds. Some of them, together with their environs, have been turned into an ornithological reserve and a landscape park known as the Barycz Valley. One of Europe’s largest wildlife reserves, it offers to bird watchers a great number of observation points situated on dikes.

A stunning sunset on a crisp fall night north of 60. Notice how the pond has a very thin layer of ice on it.

Out for a stroll tonight with the dog to try out my new Gitzo tripod. Nothing earth shattering, just a nice end of the day.
