As we sat on the rocky beach the sun started to warm up the clouds which had been gray and uninteresting all evening. The thought was that our sunset photo shoot was looking more like a bust than anything. Yet another reminder for me that when you think it's over, it's not. :)

Overlooking the Isle of Arran off the West Coast of Scotland this evening seen one of our stunning sunsets. We have some of the most attractive sunsets anywhere in the world between April and October and I urge you, if you like to photograph sunsets, the West of Scotland because you will simply not be disappointed.

It looked a promising night for a sunset so I took the short trip over to Dunlaoghaire East Pier.

This was taken last night in Blackpool. I was waiting to see the lights, turned around and realised the sun had popped out below the clouds for a beautiful sunset.
