Photo taken in Lankanfinolhu (Paradise Island Resort, Maldives).
This was the only one sunset I've had with some clouds; I did not bring with me a tripod/support for the camera (my bad!) and the shore was heavily trafficked by small boats... hence I decided to take it on hands, using a Hoya Pro1 circular polarizer (as the Sigma 18-35 F1.8 Art does not suffer by lens flare).
We've been camping for the past week on the beautiful Barrington River at Poleys Place, just outside of Gloucester NSW. We got to drive up to the top of the property to get these pic's at sunset. Thanks to Liipgloss aka Brenda Ashley for asking for permission to go up there. It was just amazing.

Barley is one of the most common agricultural crops grown in Tuscany's Val d'Orcia region... every second field is a barley field!
Since barley is one of the primary ingredients in beer... you would probably expect to find plenty of different types of beer for sale in the region... right? Nope... you'd be wrong... everyone there drinks wine... I never saw anyone drinking beer in Tuscany! And since Pienza is famous for its delicious pecorino cheese (made from sheep's milk)... you would probably expect to see plenty of sheep roaming the fields in Tuscany... right? Nope... once again... you'd be wrong... I didn't see a single sheep in Tuscany!
Am I missing something? Can someone please explain this to me??

When I'm sitting there watching the sun set, I always find myself thinking "wow, this is beautiful" everytime...nature will never cease to amaze me again and again how beautiful it is.
I think this looks better on black, so press L, for the experience.
The suns rays shine upon the horizon to the Air Traffic Control tower at Sky Harbor Airport in Arizona.

I love silhouettes as they hide the full story which makes them interesting!
