Sunset down at Ainsdale Beach. Ainsdale is located approx 18 miles north of Liverpool and 4 miles south of Southport.
We've had a few sunny days of late and hopefully they will continue! I went out at sunset down the back lane hoping to catch a nice landscape shot but the sun dipped behind trees without being to spectacular. To be honest, I was being a bit optimistic as the lane doesn't really lead to anywhere especially picturesque. As usual, I found a shot with barbed wire that I quite liked so here it is!!

Great sunset at the westcoast of the Scottish Highlands, near the Stoer lighthouse. Taken out of a driving car, I got lucky :-)
Up in the Kolob back country of Dixie National Forest one will find endless dirt roads, which are a pleasure to explore during the fall season. This old miners homestead was a neat find.
