Thanks for taking the time to take a look at my pictures. Your views, comments, faves and support are greatly appreciated ツ
Was out on a phototour yesterday. Got home cold, wet and exhausted. But winter has some really nice scenes.
A racing spaceship from the seldom visited, lateral appendix of the galactic disc. Sunray was noted for its balance of speed and manoeuvrability.
Landing the Sunray was a tricky process. First, the outer panels had to be folded flat. then, pilots had to fly vertically and them modulate the thrust to lower gently onto the pad. Finally, the cockpit could be rotated to the horizontal.
There are more images, including the ladder truck for the pilot to get down from the cockpit, over on Instagram: www.instagram.com/davidrobertslego/p/DEX9PlQi8j6/?img_ind... & www.instagram.com/davidrobertslego/p/DETALJmiO4e/?img_ind...
I captured this shot at sunset of sunrays against dark clouds and photographers' shadows during a photo workshop at Bosque del Apache.
So yesterday me and Edwin went for a drive, half knowing, and half hoping that the terrible thick cloud was clearing from the rains of the past 2 days...
What we saw was what we had hoped for, but never thought it would be so beautiful!
I am going to be boring you with shots from yesterday for quite sometime... I have not seen the Blue Mountains look so wonderful before, and I grew up there!
Get out and explore people, you will always find something amazing!
Here is me taking the shot:
Another shot taken during the ascent to Porcile mountain. The foreground green valley contrasts with the background foggy mountains. Sunrays dominate the sky.
Digitally developed with Raw Therapee and enhanced with GIMP.

Light of love, shine on me
Through the branches of the tree
Past the fruits of affection
Shine sweet love in my direction
Let it flow into my heart
From the days end, until it's start
Through the moments, as i see
The rays of love, shining down on me
A hunting we will go, A hunting we will go...hi, ho, the merrymen, a hunting we will go! (EXPLORED!!!)
This raccoon seems to be striking a fetching pose, but she is actually all set to raid our sunflower feeder.
June 27, 2015 update: Raccoons continue to come by on a regular basis and are the primary reason why the bird feeders are taken in every night. (I find it quite disturbing to be awoke during the middle of the night by raccoons knocking things about on the deck!)
Sunlight putting on a dazzling(literally) display over Llynnau Mymbyr with Snowdon hidden in cloud in the distance.
I've just got back from a two day trip to North Wales. Moel Siabod via Daear Ddu Ridge on the first day and then a walk through the forests around Betws-Y-Coed following the river on the second day two. Lots of miles covered and my legs are killing me but definitely worth it, plenty of lovely sights to photograph.
