Dinner made by my mom (a labor of love; they take forever to make!). The one in the front is massive compared to the others, so it got saved for a leftover meal (or two).

Dec. 13, 2023: Dozens of stuffed animals are located in trees at the West end of Pepper Tree Playfield in Newbury Park, California. The placement of the toys is a local Christmas tradition that started at least three years ago.
Rabbit stuffed with sausage and pistachio, wrapped in housemade pancetta, topped with port wine reduction.
Been really enjoying these lately, brushed with pesto, stuffed with white beans, breadcrumbs, and pecorino.
Farm bell peppers stuffed with the last of the 2009 Breychak Pig Sausage and cooked in garden tomato sauce. Heaven on a plate!
