On May 21, 2013, employees from Devon Energy participated in the annual Stuff the Truck event. The employees sorted food from the Letter Carriers' Food Drive, which was used for disaster relief in response to the tornadoes in Oklahoma.
I bought this for my grandfather when I worked on Bad Girls in Del Rio, Texas. Early 90's. (Papa was a Texan, and he loved westerns, I figured this would be the perfect gift). Thing is, somehow it never actually got to Papa. He's been dead for a few years now, and I still have this damn metal cowboy candlestick holder that I've never used. I supposed it's time to get rid of it (I'm paring down on my worldly possessions, I have too damn many), but. Now it reminds me of Papa.
An armful of movie tickets, play tickets, festival tickets. Christmas nerd buttons. A keychain for our graduating class. Save the streaker sticker. Radish earrings. Film marker. Dumblydore. The corner of an art class mural. And one polaroid.
My friends give me a little stuffed animal (doll?) for my 31th birthday, and from that an idea for photos begun.
Let's see to where this take us.
The stuffed name, cthulhu, it's just because i'm a Lovecraft fan, nothing else.
