In the village of Landsort on the island of Öja in the Stockholm archipelago. Öja is the southernmost island in the archipelago. This person has a lot of stuff......It looks like fishing stuff, I mean professional fishing, commercial fishing.
Okay, so it was a really long day and I don't actually remember exactly what the olives were stuffed with, but I do recall them being quite tasty.
I first photographed this phalanger back in April 2005. He still looks shocked to be here.
In a nutshell, this is one of six images offered for an exhibition and I need only three or four. Comments gratefully received. Visit my set for a full explanation.
This is kind of where it all began; I’m thrilled that people have found him as funny as I do. This is a re-shot of the original because it had been taken on my ancient 1.2 M-pixel camera and we hope to print to A2.
The Curator of Natural History was kind enough to open the cabinet so I didn’t have to shoot through glass - in fact, was kind enough to do this twice because the first batch were not quite right. Focusing on that tiny glint of light in a phalanger’s eye in such gloomy surrounds was not easy. In the meantime, we chatted about the difficulties of taking macro shots of snails (the blighters never stop moving!) and the rarity of appropriate stuffed specimens.
I stuffed the fish with garlic, ginger, lemon juice, salt, pepper onions and some butter. I also brushed just a little along the top. bAfterwards I wrapped them in tin foil and put them in the oven for 20 mins at 375F. After that I opened the packets up to expose the tops and let them broil for another 10 minutes.
This cool zipper pouch is brand new and one-of-a-kind. Perfect to hold your most important stuff!
The cursive word "stuff" is hand embroidered and rests on machine stitched notebook paper-inspired lines. All this cuteness is done on a beautiful natural cotton which was also used for the other side. The lining is a beautiful blue and the zipper is black.
This zipper pouch is my own pattern, wider at the base makes it roomier inside. It measures 6" wide and 5" high.
Artemis normally hates people (except me) so it was pretty cool to see him making friends with Daz. Here he is (somewhere in there!) sleeping on Daz after we thought it would be fun to balance lots of stuff on him.
We were waiting for Noelle's new glasses at Market Fair and were running out of things to keep us amused and away from LensCrafters. Enter Pottery Barn Kids and the iPhone.

okay but not amazing. Could be my fault because I changed the recipe a little, subbing chopped canned tomatoes for tomato sauce. Maybe the sauce would have been a better option? But the whole thing was more labor intensive than I was hoping, which makes me not feel like giving it another try.
All in all, inky's eggplant parm still wins.
