Autumn.
With the arrival of cooler temperatures, the hats, gloves and scarves return to the streets. But what I really love seeing and is so indicative of the environment are the foggy windows in all of the bakeries. Heat and steam from the freshly baked goodies make all of the windows run a bit and the indoor temperature feel like a sauna....ah Polish warm. The cooler seasons have begun!

Something I've learned on the field...if the sunset sucks, turn around. You may find that the true show is happening behind...I was at the sea in Marina di Massa, the sunset was dull and boring. As I turned to go away, I saw that actually all the colors, fluffy clouds and mood were somewhere else...
moving stuff around so i'll have a cozy nook instead of a dumping ground. rearranging feels good. but i still fantasize about the days of utter stufflessness. i'll hit the road and own nothing. owe nobody. yeah.
A Monday morning visit to the Tring taxidermy museum means you pretty much get the place all to yourself, providing you don't count the dead animals of course...
