Old eroded blue iceberg against a cloudy blue sky provides some visually interesting textures. The iceberg became grounded in Cuckold Cove near Trinity, Newfoundland on its journey down Iceberg Alley from Baffin Bay on the west coast of Greenland.

While 536' is the actual height of the US Bancorp Tower aka The Big Pink there are many factors other than distance that affect how tall it appears in a photograph. From left to right in the sequence above the camera moves closer to the building, but its apparent height changes due to focal length, perspective, and proximity to foreground objects. newspaper, yarn, ink
after trying to understand the news, sewing on the news, washing the news with water, soaking it in ink... is it something new?
I took these 3 images less than an hour apart during a sunset in Iceland. I put them together to show how the scene changes dramatically with the light.
First image has the warm golden sunset light coming from behind me. During the second image, sun is just below the horizon but still hitting the top of the clouds giving them a lovely pink colour. This is what is known as civil twilight. By the 3rd image, sun is well below the horizon and the landscape feels much colder under blue hues. This is roughly the end of civil twilight and beginning of nautical twilight.

i had to admit that studying was not one of the most enjoyable thing to do during my school days..but hang on guys..im sure u'll start missing your time in school soon after u go to work!
One of the downsides of working in LDD is that it's very fussy about collisions and legal connections. In the LDD model on the right the fourth of the 2x1x2 bows won't go into place because it collides with the one above. Hence the study model on the left which reproduces the exact setup and proves that in fact the piece will fit nicely underneath. My desk is cluttered with loads of these little study models just to check stuff is going to work for real.
