Flash Strobe testing.

This was acutally shot by my friend Matt Wood. We were working on flash technique one night and were playing with the strobe feature.

Unfortunatly, I look rather pyschotic in these pics!

We had a try with the metz of a friend on radio trigger.

One Metz from the side or the back. Cannot remember the set on the it.

I don't use my strobe setup much in the field - this was a learning experience. SB-24 at 1/2 power into a shoot through umbrella to the right of the camera. I went to the umbrella because the bare flash was causing even more severe specular highlights.

I'm not sure what I could have done to improve the lighting in the field. Perhaps move the umbrella further to the right?

Comments and suggestions for improvement concerning the lighting are welcome.

Managed to do some PP in this photo... I don't know if you like it but I do ; ) Hope you will, too...

this was my first strobe with a real wedding couple and this one has been colour boost just to eliminate the 'dullness' of it.

ooowhhh....no comment on this.A dozen of strobe just provided!

2 strobe setup. 1 camera left with shoot thru umbrella and 1 behind the subject

The exposure was open long enough to get a bunch of flahes from the strobe...made for a really crazy effect.

another situation it would be nice to have someone else around to take a picture of...aish, cold+singe AA battery flash + veeery long exposure...472 seconds...
