Justin has a million arms! Ahhh. . It's been an interesting week. I'm finally uploading. I like my strobe light.

Gotta keep the dust contained somehow.... Check out the strobed smoke detector up there....

Time to face my worst fear, strobes! I'm deathly afraid of strobes and flash photography, mainly because I haven't a clue on how to use them, let alone do it effectively. But then again, not using it won't help me get any better. Time for a crash course, and what better way to learn than to force myself into a 365 project.

Some were shot in ISO 400/800 and all were shot in manual mode exposure

I placed my macro ring flash underneath it for light.

Shot with AlienBees Einstein through a large Octabox on camera left and with Godox AD200 with medium softbox with grid on camera right, AB400s on the background to make it white.

Strobe Firework

I'm so greatful I was able to know these people they are very nice, supportive, & friendly.. Go go go BATES Team..

Self portrait experiment with 2 strobes. One with reflective umbrella front and to the right. The other strobe was on the ground with a blue gel reflecting through wine glasses to get the blue background texture.
