Strobe light captures water streaming from the kitchen faucet, forming drops

Took home a self developed negative last Thursday from our Taal shoot last time using a large format camera. I converted it to a positive image (although not as clean as I would like) and this is sort of what came out. My picture was the inside of the church there. Amazing place...

Wow.

Off-camera lighting is a hell of a challenge.

Setting white balance, shutter speed, flash power, flash zoom, aperture, iso, sync speeds, wah-wah...

This photo is completely blown out. BUT, I love it compared to all the other shots I took. Its hella contrasty, the fading of the blue, etc...

I've got a lot of playing around with all this, but now that I have my wireless triggers and diffuser umbrella... :)

This was acutally shot by my friend Matt Wood. We were working on flash technique one night and were playing with the strobe feature.

this was my first strobe with a real wedding couple and this one has been colour boost just to eliminate the 'dullness' of it.
