This is with flash added and it definitely looks better because now, there’s no dark shadows and you can see both him, inside, and outside the window.
One strobe for background light, head pointed on parque floor. main strobe with home made softbox on side top left. Photoshop-ed to make the black darker.
Just Ramps in Birmingham was the venue for the last stop of tour and it provided a great turn out for the days activities. In-between the competition and signings Corey fit in this banging full whip over the mini volcano.

I wanted to take a photo with the window in the background to see how adding the flash could help. This is the correctly exposed one, I tried to get decent lighting on both him and the background, but it’s just a little bit dark on him.
Strobist Info: 1/100 f7.1@100 ISO. Alien Bees B800 at upper camera right & shot through an AB giant softbox. @ about 1/16 power.
LOL, Mia wasn't super impressed to be all dolled up for the photo shoot, but with all the kids in school, she is the only living breathing thing besides myself at home to test my new stobe today. And no, she doesn't usually wear clothes. :)
