Water droplet macros. Caught with Sigma 150mm f/2.8 macro and a single Vivitar flash, using a piece of foil to bounce the light back.

i have more firework shots that i'm planning on cropping
because a lot of them have parts in 'em that'd made a great abstract.
Donated some time and effort today to the Halo House of Houston (http://www.halohousefoundation.org), who needed photographs taken of some of their apartments. This is my first foray into 'architectural photography'. Clearly, i have a lot to learn.
Had a Photoshop class with Tim Buerger today.
Worked on some of the photos I did in a previous strobe lesson in Minato Mirai, Yokohama. Now it feels like the lesson is complete... from the shooting to the post-production.
I was never a huge fan of flashes and non-natural light but I really like the results of this class... time to practice!
