A long exposure taken in the dark with a strobe flicking on and off while Owen swayed a bass left and right in front of his face.
My friend Dwayne owns a shop selling skates as well as teaching skating classes. To promote his various interests he held a power-sliding competition in Weinan, Shaanxi, China.
I took along a couple of YN460 strobes, my 5D Mark II , 24-105mm F4 and my 135L.
It was very crowded which made getting good shots tough, especially with the longer 135L.
a second attempt at shooting some goodies we got from our horse and buggy produce pick up.
strobist: sb-800 to the left, sb-600 to the right w/ white foam board bounce on black table top. triggered with on camera D70 pop-up.
This shot was made using Sony Cybershot T10 point-and-shot camera.
5-led lamp in impulse mode and rubber tube. Exposure is 8 sec.
This is the second go at editing this photo from a shoot I did over a year ago.
Actually prefer the way it has come out this time, edited it to provide a bit more light around the car and the back drop.
