Another new recruit - My office mate Tristan starting to get hooked not only with photography but also with strobing

This was shot in the same day as the Cashew Snake, this is my attempt at something more 'stock' like, with a very simple composition and subject.

 

Shot with a Canon 40D + Sigma 24-70 EX f/2.8 and two strobes with shoot through umbrellas, key front left of camera and fill deep camera right.

I want a G7 / G9 ... but I really can't justify the price, esp if I am going with the Casio EX-F1

A red cloth and two strobes can allow one to experiment......and no it is not an alien.
