3 Strobes

Nikon D40 with Kit Lens

I had no one to help me out with a photo tonight so I decided to take a little self portrait. After I took the photo I really like how my strobe was the focus of the photo. I personally don't like taking photos of myself so I'd rather hide my face and give the focus to my beautiful Alien Green Strobes.

Had a Photoshop class with Tim Buerger today.

Worked on some of the photos I did in a previous strobe lesson in Minato Mirai, Yokohama. Now it feels like the lesson is complete... from the shooting to the post-production.

I was never a huge fan of flashes and non-natural light but I really like the results of this class... time to practice!

On my way to take few landscape shots I notice that this bird is checking me out. Luckily for once I have my flash gear with me, so I got a decent shot of this nosy bird.

BTW, does anyone know what kind of bird this is?

Lighted by radio strobe (430ex, full power) on a tripod situated over - left of the camera and lower - center from the bird. On the other side: the SUN (G2V -class star, full power).

I was experimenting with the strobe available on my external camera-mount flash.
