I'm a strobist freak so I had to bring some flashes on my walk around New Orleans Saturday morning. I could have snapped for hours just getting textures. They're everywhere.

Lighting info:
580EX in a small DIY softbox and triggered by a Pocket Wizard. The strobe is, more or less, balanced with daylight in the background.
I had a complex idea for that week but at the end, it didn't work at all. So I had to rush outside to take whatever image...
2 days late...
2 strobe flash light, 1 from bottom, and another 1 from left with 1/4 power
using macro extension tube + 55-250mm IS canon lens

Taken with a strobe with reflective umbrella at the left side of the shot.
Off camera flash is lovely, Learning cool techniques..
Used a Vivitar 285HV Flash to the camera Left at Full power; shoot-through umbrella .
Applied Surface blur to get a smooth skin, played with curves to adjust the light.
One strobe to the rear behind a fly-sheet, one 35º to camera right, 45º relative to the hapless victims.
85 mm, f/4.5, 1/125, ISO 100.
