First attempts at off camera strobes. Nikon SB-20 camera right (wishing I had a stand and umbrella) strobe setting on my TV. Another SB-20 hair light sitting on a coffe table.

Christmas pirate nutcracker shot with 3 strobes,triggered with poverty wizards: 1 Nikon SB-28, 1/8 power, green gel, fired from behind through white shower curtain material, 1 SB-28 camera right, 1/32 power, fired through 24 inch white umbrella, 1 SB-600, camera left, snooted and gel'd with red, 1/64 power. Camera settings: Nikon D50, f4.5, 1/400, 50mm prime lens. I'll be using this series as Christmas cards this year.

This very fine Strobe from Ikelite, gives a soft fill in, to bring back those wonderful colours, that the water absorbs, remember, that your exposure counts for the ambient light, and the strobe fills in the Flora-Fauna, for perfect picture:www.aquaphotos.org www.uwpgallery.com

Trying out the new flash.
Flash was placed off camera under the table, reflected against the wall. I dripped water into the glass and took the pic!
Photo taken with a single Inon Z220 strobe fitted with a homemade "snoot" and back-lit.

It was a cold rainy day in the City, so I practiced inside with smoke and one flash. I used incense to generate the smoke.
Strobist info: 430 EX pointed directly at the smoke from the right side at 90 degrees. Home made barn doors on the left and right side of the flash. 430 EX 1/2 power.

midnight, as i pass along Tanay Rizal, just grab a couple of bibingka and some balut... i was standing by along the port of infamous tanay light house with my sister.
tried to capture the distant light from the mountains of antipolo.. grabbed two of my flashgun, and then started shooting in very low light condition...
