Ensaio com os Moais que eu trouxe do Chile. Feito depois de um vÃdeo interessante que eu vi sobre iluminação com flash.

Shoot through white umbrella to the right of camera.
Strobe info - Vivitar 285 HV at 1/2 power aprox. 8 -12 inches above and in front of bee. Cactus trigger
Someone else took photos on stage--There were a few times I caught his flash, but this is one of the two times I caught it right.
Not sure why he was using a strobe, actually. In my shooting of vaping clouds they are difficult to make distinct when using a strobe, as in the foreground of this shot the ring (perhaps plural rings) blend into the shirt.
E-cigarette vapor is not very reflective, really.
Experimenting out with Nissin Di866 and YN560 Off-camera Flash..
Info: YN560 on camera left on a white shoot thru umbrella.. Nissin DI866 Flash aimed at the wall gelled with blue..
one 800w/s strobe on the background, one 800 w/s diffused translucent mylar, one 1000w/s strobe w/ med. softbox w/30deg grid 45deg to the left of camera position.

strobist: you can see both flashes in the picture. vivitar 3500 camera right in diy beauty dish with 1/2 cto gel. bare vivitar 3500 gelled blue behind me. post in lightroom.
I had a complex idea for that week but at the end, it didn't work at all. So I had to rush outside to take whatever image...

2 strobe flash light, 1 from bottom, and another 1 from left with 1/4 power
using macro extension tube + 55-250mm IS canon lens
