A fast moving storm moved through the area this afternoon. Strong wind gusts with lightning. The National Weather Service even issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning and a Tornado Alert. Fortunately, the storm zipped through the area and was gone in about 30 minutes and when it left, it took all the hot air and humidity with it. It ended up being a gorgeous evening.
The past two nights involved loud thunderstorms that kept us awake. tonight should be calm thankfully. I took this shot in a lull using my iPhone and processed it with SnapSeed.

I painted it in the gimp with my wacom, punching the colour up a touch using my gmic filter "60s cinema fx" set to "Carey Grant."
This is another violent thunder storm. I love the colours of the clouds and the contrast with the trees.
