Storms building over the ridge, like many others who travel to the America from the UK you cannot ignore the power of landscape. This image may not be the most striking or the most recognisable from such trips but for me it symbolizes so much of the environment. It’s just a simple picture, hand held, taken while driving somewhere between Bryce Canyon and Zion and I know It sounds cheesy but we really had the most brilliant time, just driving and taking pictures.

On 18th July 2014 there was an electrical storm over Tunbridge Wells.

for a few days now Storm Ciara has battered the UK with Storm Dennis just behind her.

The Irish Sea has been very violent lately with the high spring tides complete with storm surge and swells. The Irish Sea and the River Mersey were VERY angry and had no problems displaying the brute force the waters of this planet can unleash.

Storm Brian gave us some rather unpleasant weather in which to walk the dogs.

I took this shot just after our son had returned from walking our pair of hounds, all three of them got home dripping wet. On the plus side, it meant that I wasn't dripping wet ;o)
