Two bent trees in the remnants of sunlight making a stark contrast against the dark clouds and mist down Loch Tay

Storm I think looks a lot differant than she did in the first two movies.

Heavy rain and windy conditions whipped through Western Washington on Tuesday, October 13. The damaging windstorm caused widespread outages throughout our service area.

Our crews work around the clock to safely assess damage and restore outages caused by tree branches and limbs blown into the power lines by gusty winds. Our Emergency Coordination Center and all of our local storm bases were opened to coordinate our response efforts.

Damage is assessed on Bainbridge Island as cleanup and repairs begin.

In my opinion....Every art show should have a storm trooper working the door

Thunderstorm picking up a Dust storm across the eastern plain east of Roebourne WA

Crazy-looking storm clouds rolling through McHenry County, Illinois--July 10, 2008.

On Friday evening 27 inches (that's nearly 68 centimeters!) of snow fell in the Philadelphia region. This Wednesday we are expecting another snow storm to hit!

Keep on shovelling.

Rain begins to fall as a storm approaches a small marina in Toronto, Ontario.

Mørke skyer over Stjørdal

This storm formed southwest of Flagstaff, AZ and took on some decent but brief structure while moving eastward. This shot is taken facing southwest and shows a low-hanging shelf cloud forming as the storm gusts out.

The fishermen struggle to keep their boat under control in this detail from the North window of the crossing in St Giles' cathedral, Edinburgh. Glass 1922 by Scottish artist , Douglas Strachan. The window depicts the storm on Galilee in which Christ stilled the waters.

So I went to take some pictures with a medium-format cam in the middle of the storm. almost died twice (seriously). but you gotta admit, the outcome.. it's worth it.

Storm, outside of Wilf's, on the occasion of her 37th birthday and her last late night show in Portland, Oregon, before she headed south to appear on Rockstar: Supernova.

Getting lucky with the shutter. This was taken in last nights storm from my window. Only a quick crop applied to cut out a badly placed telephone cable in paint.net (I'm restricted to a netbook for editing). Your comments are welcome :)

The Everglades are subtropical wetlands with sawgrass marshes, cypress swamps, mangrove forests, and more.

Storm King! Amazing place! Go there. Now would be good but as they say in the brochure I think this place would be awe inspiring in any weather at any time of the year. I was blown away. Can't wait to go back. This is just the first batch of many. I filled up a card today, haven't done that in a while. We had fantastic weather with gorgeous clouds blowing all around and great light and the fall colors. Sat for a while and watched the shadows from the clouds zoom over the open fields and change the scene over and over.
