Yayyy! A sunny afternoon, meant fun in Central Park for us wacky kidz in my second high school.

This is something all kids who go to school by central park do, but we were right by Strawberry Fields, and the Meadow.

On this day, someone's hippy friend brough inflatable fun things!! I claimed these sneakers for my elf feet, so I could stomp around and feel like I was walking on the moon.

Eric was probably err.. imbibing things he shouldn't have that day, hence his confused expression. I am sure he hs no memory of this. He also didn't seem to care much when I stomped on him. Now, that's a friend, yo!

Please feel free to laugh your tushis off, at our 90's teenage threads.

MINIMAL - May Group Gift 2020

So last night as I often do I went out to Fells Point to shoot some local bands. There is this one place called The Waterfront, which often has good bands but is SUPER dark. I am working with management to get permission to do SOME flash work, but I dont have it yet.

Well anyway, last night STOMP decided to pop out from their touring Broadway Play that is playing in Baltimore this week and have some fun with some of the local guys.

Let me just tell you Tuesday in Fells Point is usually dead but these guys had the place JUMPING. all the other bars emptyed out and they came to this bar when they saw what was going on....and let me just say, if how these guys just "played around" was any indication of how good their show is......IM GOING AND SO SHOULD YOU!

It wasnt just the beat and the vibe and the music....it was the intensity, the soul and the fun they brought......the moment they joined in you could feel it, it was HOT HOT HOT.

anyway, i REALLY wish i had better light and could have had much less noise on this, but i had to work with what i had and i LOVE this shot because it really gives you a fell for the mood at this bar last night.....if you were there you know what im talking about.

Great to rock another collab with my good friend and style master Bonzai in London . Great day in great company . Big ups all in attendance !

I try not to upload shots that are so similar to each other, but I really like this one.

I'm never sure what he's doing. He seems to be slowly stomping away from the nuclear holocaust.

Out of interest Johnny Dodds' Black Bottom Stompers was a recording session that took place in April 1927 that included ten great jazz musicians and produced eleven songs.

In the early days of the Second World War a group of local musicians met up in The Red Barn, a Pub in the suburbs of South East London, to revive the New Orleans style of traditional jazz, and continued in the Post War era, attracting further leading jazz musicians including Humphrey Littleton.

In the mid fifties the enthusiasts moved to The Green Man located on the heights of Blackheath Hill in South London. The former Green Man had stood on the site for several centuries, but was rebuilt in the Georgan style in the mid 19th Century. The enthusiasts met in an upstairs room and engaged leading Trad Jazz Bands that had been formed in the great revival. In the early sixties, they also engaged early versions of the Rock Groups like the Rolling Stones and Manfred Mann but decided to stick with Trad Jazz. At some point in the early sixties, one of the Trad Bands was invited downstairs to play in the entertainment area of the Bar, and the venture proved so popular, the Trad Bands were engaged to play every night of the week and Sunday Lunchtime. Throughout the remainder of the Sixties, The Green Man became a Centre for Trad Jazz and enthusiasts were attracted from many parts of London. One of the Bands was The Black Bottom Stompers (GB) who became very popular and was frequently engaged. They attempted to play in the original New Orleans style. During those heady times, June and myself often visited The Green Man to listen to the jazz, and became friends with some of the Black Bottom Stompers (GB)

Sadly, in the early seventies The Green Man was demolished along with nearby Georgian style housing, and a modern block of flats was built on the site.

stomp has been around since the early 80’s, in one form or another, but this was our first show. it was astonishing. think gene krupa locked in a bayonne warehouse without his stuff. think warner brothers cartoon crossed with drumming at the edge of magic. think revival meeting. if you live in a humorless part of the country with no sense of rhythm, this will be your air tube. if you don’t, go anyway.

These pigeons were eating along the path through Tom McCall waterfront park in downtown Portland. They usually yield as people approach, but they don't stray far!

I saw this sign today where I was eating lunch. Thought it was funny, so I took a picture of it =D!

The TRA Stomper was built to combat enemy infantry and light vehicles. It is equipped with 2 T4-Gatling guns and a pair of self defense guns to protect the relatively weak back. Although slow in turning the Stomper can run at speeds up to 120 MPH in a straight line.
