A cold, foggy morning in the Peak District. Stomping feet to keep warm. Waiting for the cloud inversion to drop another 100 feet so I could get my version of the clichéd “Cement works rising out of the mist” shot. It doesn’t happen. These pigeons were eating along the path through Tom McCall waterfront park in downtown Portland. They usually yield as people approach, but they don't stray far!
stomp has been around since the early 80’s, in one form or another, but this was our first show. it was astonishing. think gene krupa locked in a bayonne warehouse without his stuff. think warner brothers cartoon crossed with drumming at the edge of magic. think revival meeting. if you live in a humorless part of the country with no sense of rhythm, this will be your air tube. if you don’t, go anyway.

The TRA Stomper was built to combat enemy infantry and light vehicles. It is equipped with 2 T4-Gatling guns and a pair of self defense guns to protect the relatively weak back. Although slow in turning the Stomper can run at speeds up to 120 MPH in a straight line.

Got to work on this again some last night... I appreciate the feedback on that first monstrosity I posted yesterday. It was really helpful. I don't think this is finished yet, and I'd appreciate more criticism to help me figure out how to the get the best out of it and improve my processing... er... and my taste. Looking at the thing I posted yesterday, it's downright garish. Yuck. I think this is a step in the right direction, but more work to go on it I think.
