Train was hauled by Steam Locomotives 44871 and 45407 The Lancashire Fusilier - both Stanier Black Five Class 5MT 4-6-0.

Based upon the Case engine in this album, this is a steam tractor engine I created in LDD and built as a gift for my brother and eventually my brother.

CJ took this video at the Essex train museum in CT. #40 coming back from an ash grate clean out. We were really lucky, the camera battery died just as the train pulled in.

SHOT AT TRAGO MILLS OUTLET 2005-2008. THIS IS PART OF BICKINGTON STEAM RAILWAY

Mount Holyoke State Park, Massachusetts.

 

The Halfway Area, 365 feet below the summit of Mt. Holyoke, was the main entrance to the resort during the era of mountaintop hospitality. This steam engine powered the tram, or "funicular", up to Holyoke House from 1856 to 1937.

 

Seen today between Shrewsbury & Wrexham. I`m no expert on steam engines but looks like it needs a bit of tlc ! Number was 44422

Unfortunately the owners of this once spruce and colourfull steam engine dont seem to be bothered in keeping it in good nick. I think that it has stood in this position for the last 20 years.

 

Anyone know what it is or perhaps what it was used for?????
