Premier’s statement on removing all U.S. alcohol from BCLIQUOR stores by Province of British Columbia

Premier David Eby has issued the following statement in response to the latest threats from the United States:

“Today, we are ordering the removal of all American beer, wine, spirits and refreshment beverages from the shelves at BCLIQUOR stores. The stores carry hundreds of types of U.S. alcohol that the BC Liquor Distribution Branch will also no longer be purchasing.

“We are taking this action in response to escalating threats from south of the border. Most recently, U.S. President Donald Trump made new threats against Canada’s dairy and lumber industries – and there are reports he has been musing about redrawing the border.

Was out for a walk today and saw the wall of statements posters were up already. Officially opens on Tuesday. You'd defiantly need to go and have a look at them in person.

Lately a few Corvette owners and I am sure other makes of cars have installed these swing up doors.

Personally I don't like them.

Besides being very expensive to have reworked it isn't what the factory wanted to do.

I am more a purist when it comes to cars. Keep it stock is what I believe in. Especially with Corvettes.

This owner is making a statement.

Just one I don't agree with.

Spotted in the parking lot.

But it still bothers me when these things aren't applied with the points sticking down. In the Jesus Fish orientation or skewed to make the text horizontal, it just looks wrong, that's all.

This work is about the current state of citizenry and protest culture. Oppression is a dominate force in our lives. I am opposed to using force or the threat of force to others.

My work is process oriented. I layer paint. I use joint compound, latex paint, aerosol, markers, paper, and glazes.

I believe it is possible to make the world a better place.
