And that statement is I'm back! Once abundant, there have been almost no egrets at Aquatic Park since the big oil spill in the bay. Now they are starting to return.
Note-Grids are a tool for collecting and connecting objects of thought (in this case, words).
They treat words and other manifestations of thought as objects that can be freely manipulated to create new meaning.

The Conference is held at the World Forum, The Hague, the Netherlands, from 25-29 November 2019.
It is funny how such a little wreck of a shack like this is such a special place to me. One of the first people I met after moving to Nome so many years ago lived here...we always called it the black shack, even so many years back it was tough!
Jack became a close friend of mine, we drove dogs together on trips into the country, partied together, I was his best man at his wedding, he was the best man at my (now over) wedding.
Not long after his marriage, they moved to Fairbanks, things didn't go very well for him, his wife left him...& he pretty well quit communicating with his friends out here....
I think of him often, wonder where he is & how he is doing.
Nome is such a transient town, people coming and going often, it becomes a blur, but Jack, here's to ya, if you read this.

Chocolate from the Christmas party we had on our last evening English course. Good for the nerves. But much better were the kind words I recieved from my special friend. Big hugs. Many of them!

Beverley abounds in fine building, though one needs to look up to appreciate many of them. This is the attractive front-facing gable of the Corn Exchange, opened in 1886. A department store, Browns, now occupies the building, which is located in Saturday Market. The Grade II listed Corn Exchange was converted into a cinema - the Picture Playhouse - in 1911 but it closed in 1963. The cinema reopened in 1982 but shut again 21 years later.
