Summer wear in Kiev, and L'viv (the two cities I spent time in) tends more to the revealing, than not. This was atypical in that skirts and loose trousers were more common (or , really, snug jeans).
I've been told the young women spend much of the summer eating very little so they can stay slim.

Navy SEALs surrounded him and shot Bin Laden in the head. None of the US military was injured or hurt in the attack.

Swiss Cottage Conservation Area was designated in November 1988, with the Conservation Area Statement adopted in 1995.
As with Belsize, this is an important example of mid 19th century speculative development on a grand scale, this time in red brick with finely detailed arts and crafts inspired decoration. Lush green front gardens and continuous runs of front boundary walls, with piers, posts and railings, as well as the gaps between houses and views into mature gardens contribute significantly to the area’s particular character.
More front gardens and boundary walls have been lost in Swiss Cottage than in the Belsize and Hampstead. Furthermore a significant number of properties originally had stained glass/leaded window and doors which are increasingly being removed, making the need for action more urgent than ever.
Conservation area at risk
Swiss Cottage has been designated by English Heritage as a ‘Conservation Area at Risk’. This means that it is in danger of losing its special character due to the removal of traditional features such as historic doors, windows, decorative details, green front gardens and ornate boundary walls.

The IAEA Event: Net Zero Needs Nuclear Power will highlight the crucial role of nuclear power as part of the energy mix. The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Mr Rafael Mariano Grossi will announce the ‘IAEA Statement on Nuclear Power’ supported by 40 countries, both those already operating nuclear power plants and newcomers. Together these countries acknowledge that all available low-carbon technologies, including nuclear power, should be recognized, and actively supported. The Statement underlines the benefits of nuclear power, including that nuclear power plants produce no harmful greenhouse gas emissions; that nuclear energy contributes to energy security and the stability of power grids; and that it mitigates air pollution at a local level.

Inquiry Statement: How can I use photographic composition to demonstrate the importance, beauty, and ever-presence of mathematics?
Materials:
Fujifilm X-T50 camera

Idea:
I like how the transparent roof continues into the distance, and wanted to get a photo with it being the primary subject. imperfections on the glass somewhat resemble clouds. The math equation x² + z² = 1 is a cylinder lying on its side in 3D, and then { z > |x| } restricts it to just the top curve, since z is the up and down dimension.
Process:
I made sure to increase f-stop so I could have more depth of field, and tried to stand as centered as I could for symmetry. I didn't need to do much editing, other than some small cropping and bringing shadows up since the increased f-stop kind of made the image dark despite how much natural light was present.

This photo meets the project goals because the photo is being improved by line by having a good use of implied line, which means that the line is not actually there.
I took this photo in landscape view first and when I looked at it, I realized that view was not the best way to view the cards. So, I tried portrait view and my cards looked much better than they did in the landscape view. I really wanted to create line that was not actually there, and this one was the best out of all of the implied line pictures that I took. I edited this photo by increasing the saturation, and since these were not very natural colors, I thought this effect looked the best. I also changed the curves, and now the middle values are brighter.
I did really well with the portrait angle I took the picture from. I also really like the way line shows up in this photo. Something I would want to change in the photo is to have some more visual movement.
