A Russian Statement
In the early days of the 20th century, the Czar ordered this Russian Orthodox church built upon the tallest hill in Tallinn, as a symbol of Russian dominance and as a siren call to get Estonians to convert to the religion. Didn't happen. Estonians are still Lutheran and this site is now a monument to Russian domination now past.
