ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดของประเทศไทยกำหนดจะเข้าร่วมพิธีการลงนามในประกาศเจตนารมณ์เพื่อประเทศไทยที่ยั่งยืน (Statement of Commitment to Sustainable Thailand) ในวันที่ 6 มิถุนายน 2565 ณ ศูนย์ประชุมสหประชาชาติ กรุงเทพมหานคร เพื่อแสดงเจตจำนงที่จะพัฒนาขีดความสามารถและความตระหนักด้านการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนภายในจังหวัด ผ่านการร่วมมือกับสหประชาชาติและพันธมิตรต่าง ๆ พร้อมสนับสนุนเจตจำนงอันแน่วแน่ของประเทศไทยในการบรรลุเป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน และความมุ่งหมายที่จะก้าวขึ้นเป็นประเทศที่มีรายได้สูง มีการพัฒนาที่ครอบคลุม ยั่งยืน มีภูมิคุ้มกัน และมีความก้าวหน้า ซึ่งสอดคล้องกับยุทธศาสตร์ชาติ 20 ปี และร่างแผนพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจและสังคมแห่งชาติฉบับที่ 13 และโมเดลเศรษฐกิจชีวภาพ-เศรษฐกิจหมุนเวียน-เศรษฐกิจสีเขียว (BCG)
วาระเชิงยุทธศาสตร์ที่สำคัญที่จะสามารถร่วมมือกับสหประชาชาติ ได้แก่ (1) การถ่ายทอดเทคโนโลยีเพื่อลดการปล่อยคาร์บอนไดออกไซด์และการพัฒนาขีดความสามารถ (2) การอนุรักษ์และปกป้องความหลากหลายทางชีวภาพ และส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวเชิงนิเวศที่ยั่งยืน (3) การจัดการของเสียอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพตามโมเดลเศรษฐกิจชีวภาพ-เศรษฐกิจหมุนเวียน-เศรษฐกิจสีเขียว การแก้ปัญหาการเผาชีวมวลด้วยแนวทางที่อิงธรรมชาติ และการลดมลพิษทางอากาศและพลาสติก (4) การสร้างระบบอาหารที่ยั่งยืนและลดการสูญเสียอาหาร การพัฒนาเกษตรกรรมยั่งยืน และการทำฟาร์มอัจฉริยะ และ (5) การเสริมสร้างความยืดหยุ่นให้ชุมชนและระบบนิเวศทางทะเลโดยการปรับตัวและการลดความเสี่ยงจากภัยพิบัติ

one off antwerps/belgians/worlds most leading contemporary painters, , did a "street-work" in an alley, smak-centre-town (in that narrow street that runs behind the hilton hotel).
the idea is to see people's (read also the-man-in-the-street) reaction if they'd came across a painting of his. would people pay attention/give praise to it as much as they do in the most famous contemporary musea in the world.
we spent some time here/observed on multiple days, ... we know the answer ;-)

"The Accumulation of Being Seen"

"The Accumulation of Being Seen" explores how we are constructed—and gradually buried—beneath layers of others' perceptions, until the question of who we actually are becomes impossible to answer with certainty.
Each face in this composition represents a different gaze that has shaped the central figure: the lover who saw beauty, the critic who saw failure, the parent who projected their own unlived life, the stranger who made assumptions based on surface. We carry all these versions of ourselves simultaneously, even when they contradict each other, even when they contradict our own sense of who we are.
The central figure's downcast eyes suggest the exhaustion of being perpetually witnessed, perpetually interpreted, perpetually misunderstood even—perhaps especially—when others believe they see us clearly. There's a particular loneliness in being seen by many and known by none, in becoming a collection of projections rather than a coherent self.
The red atmosphere speaks to the intensity of this condition—being seen is not a neutral act. It's hot, visceral, sometimes violent. Every gaze leaves a mark, changes us, writes itself into our self-conception. We are archeological sites of others' perceptions, layered so deeply we can no longer excavate our original form—if such a thing ever existed.
The flowing, dissolving quality throughout suggests how identity becomes fluid, unstable, permeable under the accumulated weight of being witnessed. We adjust ourselves in response to how we're seen until we no longer know which version is performance and which is truth. Perhaps the distinction is meaningless.
This piece asks: If we shed every perception others have projected onto us, what remains? And would we recognize it?
MelOrchid creates multi-layered figurative works investigating how identity is constructed through the intersection of self-perception and others' gazes, examining consciousness as contested territory.
