Walking to my gate at SFO, this fashion statement couldn't help but catch my eye. Fumbling with the iPhone camera and trying to be discreet, I fired off a few shots. Was able to salvage this one through some sliding.

Backpacking fashion statement - Not. The Lightheart Gear hiking skirt is proving better than my hiking kilts. Lots of usable pockets, very lightweight, sheds water and dries quickly. Beverley abounds in fine building, though one needs to look up to appreciate many of them. This is the attractive front-facing gable of the Corn Exchange, opened in 1886. A department store, Browns, now occupies the building, which is located in Saturday Market. The Grade II listed Corn Exchange was converted into a cinema - the Picture Playhouse - in 1911 but it closed in 1963. The cinema reopened in 1982 but shut again 21 years later.
