Today I will change my perspective. I will see things from a different angle because if my camera has taught me anything it's the fact that if I change the way I see things, the things I see will change.
Our laundry is still waiting to be folded. We have spent a ton of time at the hospital supporting friends who have met with tragedy. This pile of clean clothes in my basement is a welcome sight. It reminds me that I have a healthy family, and that's all that really matters.
The preparation of cash flow statement is done at the end of the year by the company. It is helpful to record and analyze the aggregate data of the cash flows. bit.ly/2TjpJXW
Yep, that's my personal mission statement. Maybe should've added "have fun" and "help others"... but I think those are covered under "do what you love" and "be kind to... others", respectively.

Biography & Artist Statement:
Naomi Vanderkindren is a visual artist and educator based in San Francisco. For over a decade, her work has been concerned with topics of memory and the influence photography can have over it. She views photographs not simply as documents of the past, but as ones that can actually alter our knowledge of it through suggestion.
While photographs can present factual knowledge, the meaning they convey is often something different. What we understand through them is frequently more tied to our own expectation than objective reality. Despite that, our longing to believe in their objectivity drives us to trust them, even when they conflict with what we know. This desire can be so powerful that our own memories shift to become more aligned with what a photograph presents.
In Vanderkindren’s view, photographs are never just what we objectively see, nor what we expect, nor the concept that supplants our own memory. The world we find in them is an ever-changing amalgamation of those elements. Vanderkindren seeks to reproduce that effect in her own photographs. She utilizes historic techniques to suggest oldness, a rediscovered view straight out of history. But on closer inspection, hers is a modern world and one that exists only through photographic illusion. These are fictions, as all photographs are, combining elements of objective truth, expectation and fantasy.
CCSF Photography and You:
I was initially drawn to teach a community college because I had attended one. I received a high quality education that prepared me to complete my Bachelors and Masters degrees. I feel so grateful for that experience and I wanted to give something back to the system that had helped me.
When I began my teaching career in the bay area, I naturally looked to CCSF Photography. I was completely blown away by scope of the program. The range of courses offered by the department went way beyond what I had seen, even at many four-year institutions. Students had access to up-to-date technology and gained real employable skills. If I didn’t find work teaching there, I thought, perhaps I would take classes there.
In my first semester teaching at CCSF, I have found a welcoming program that serves a broad range of students. Some are just starting out in college, trying out different courses and looking for guidance. Others are already working seriously in the medium and are ready to begin their professional careers. The faculty and staff are constantly working to help all these students. They embody the spirit of education: highly skilled, encouraging, constantly available, engaged in the community and dedicated to service. I feel proud to contribute my own skills to this department and to serve the students here in the CCSF Photography Department.
This structure necklace will make a statement and will enhance any look! It’s made out of recycled card boar which I coated with latex to make it water repellent (not waterproof) and then added some coats of gold leaf paper and linen in a stone beige colour, all sealed with a leather cord in a natural colour, it holds from a golden metal chain and it has a very easy to put and take off closure plus an extension chain to fit different neck sizes.
This is a short necklace and It’s very light.
