Looks good!

Well, I wasn't completely prepared to take this shot, but I tried it anyways. While camping in the Adirondacks, I set up my Nikon D7000 on the tripod and aimed my 11-16 towards the night sky. I wanted to shoot to the north, but the tree cover didn't allow it. I then realized I didn't have my remote trigger. Great. So I looked through the menu and saw that I could take up to 9 30 second photos in a row. So every 4.5 minutes, I hit the shutter again until I got tired of doing it (about 72 photos) and called it a night. As you can see, I screwed up once and let some time lapse between photos.

Overall, I think it turned out okay for my first try, but I am anxious to do it again, and do it right next time.

**If anyone has any tips on the best way to capture startrails with a D7000, please feel free to share. Thanks**

¡Siempre me pasa igual!

Made of 90 images composed at a remote village of Dist. Almora.

27 minutes x 30s exposures = 54 frames + 1 darkframe

A little foray into startrails. I got bored and cut it short but it added a little bit to the image.
