Sportunfall in Perlenau.

Started playing the NES games again...gotta love NINTENDO!

I've been seeing so many pretty images of buds on trees around flickr so I had to try my own. I've never been able to do a successful one as far as composition and bokeh UNTIL this! I'm thrilled with it!! woohoo!!! Isn't it great when you finally get something right you've been wanting to create for a while? What a great way to start my day today. :)

BTW, I love the feeling of a fresh start that spring brings us, don't you? If nature gets a fresh start each year, then I think we can all have one too. :)

Aluna has been nursing this little bird back to health after he flew into the window. Tonight she dances for the moon, and her dance will start with the little bird's return to freedom...

This was my third sketch drawn during the Art of Listening session on Wednesday. I decided I would start with the watercolours; I was intrigued by the multi-coloured octopus draped over the back of these two chairs. At the end I decided some line work needed to be added. Perhaps I was wrong?

During the recent very hot weather we have been starting work at 7am so I don't usually see these shadows of the lime trees.

the street arts festival in worcester on sunday (9/25/16) featured demonstrations of fencing and dancing and martial arts and acrobatic tumblers, among others. here the fencers look like they are using lightsabers ~grin~

This was the first model of the Pouva Start, manufactured beginning 1951. I love the viewfinder on this model. Imagine a TTV contraption for it!

The "Hamaphot P56L" is a close cousin of the Start.

A BNSF stack is just starting the turn at the famous curve at Cajon.

A very wise man recently said rather than try to go back to where things were, starting with something simple might work. So here we are. A nice simple basic close up with a little saturation added.

I kind of like that you can see all the marks around her lips- she's been with me a very long time now, it just adds character. :)

Young Alexis to start out the year. :)

He still has his default face-up (which is gorgeous) as I haven't worked out the courage to change it, and I keep waiting for the 'right time' to be able to have a full day to take care of him. ><'

I also wanted to take a couple snow shots of him in his default outfit, just for the beauty of it. And it ended up being way more than a couple. His sculpt and this face-up are so photogenic... I promise he'll be warm and cozy soon. XD

I love this boy so much. I also need to bring old Alexis out for some winter adventures. ❤︎

Grainau, 2 February 2025.

The Bayerische Zugspitzbahn is a metre gauge electric railway that I had never heard of before. It operates on normal tracks from Garmisch Partenkirchen to Grainau. From there the climb up the Zugspitz mountain starts and it becomes a rack railway.

And the 2023 Spring Track Season is On!

I found myself standing right next to the woman with the starting gun, so I figured I would get a few shots (pun intended). It is not nearly as loud when the gun is facing away from you!

ODC-Start

This is how we start our day throughout spring, summer and fall. Shizandra gets her exercise, Stu examines the garden and I take photos.

August 7, 2021. I left today on my bike packing challenge. This is my bike fully loaded 10km in (1 percent complete!). I'm at a campground near Manotick, forgot a few things, but am otherwise off to a good start

I woke at 3:45 am on Friday morning and took a photo of the moon before it slid behind the horizon.
