This is a set from one of the regular nights I shoot for my Images from the Underground project - I used my normal techniques for club shooting of slow shutter speeds and wide angle lenses to get trippy and exciting effects that really capture the night.
Canon EOS 60D and Sigma 10-20mm f/3.5 or 17-50mm f/2.8
Raw Conversion Camera Raw 7.0.
Post Processing Photoshop CS6.

Clearfield, PA -- Hattori Racing Enterprises driver, Brett Moffitt won the pole, and led start to finish to win the Samuel 150 at CNB Bank Raceway Park in Clearfield, PA on Saturday, July 14, 2012.
Starting to step up - pretty cool if you are a parent looking for your kid to start crawling.
Actually, what is really cool about this photo is that the one on the left was taken by mom two hours before the photo on the right was taken by dad. Neither realized what that the other had taken the photo earlier.

This image is a Superfortress B-29 Bomber named “FiFi”. The B-29 flying today where all revenue flights. Passengers paid different amounts for the various positions offered to them. The Office of Head Start joined in with the Campagna Center to host a block party in Alexandria, VA in celebration of Head Start Awareness Month and the 50th anniversary of Head Start. Approximately 200 children and parents attended the event.

I first started photographing graffiti in 1999, and in 2000 I setup a website to share my photos. Initially a mix of different subjects, but it soon became almost entirely of graffiti. I uploaded over 6000 photos to this site. Eventually Flickr came along a few years later and I started using that instead, and stopped updating the website. I shut it down completely a few years ago.
I occasionally get requests from people for photos of pieces by specific graffiti writers, and I thought it might be a good idea to upload them all to Flickr.
Most of these photos were taken on film, scanned, and saved at a small size, back in the day when people were still using 56k modems to connect to the internet and small filesizes were desirable. So apologies for the quality and size for some of these. Someday I'd like to get them all scanned in again at a higher resolution.

Sometimes things just fascinate me. Something catches my eye and I get pulled in. Guess I'm rather like a kid that way. Oh, well.... growing up isn't always all it's cracked up to be! Besides! I think they're cool!!
