I love a good trail. I love it when it pays off with some wonderful scenery or just opens your mind to the world around you.

In every city all over the world the days are starting again and again.

Mecklenburg-Vorpommern

I have taken photos at this spot before at sunrise. I like the fence and path as leading lines and in winter, the silhouettes of the trees. This time a runner and his dogs came into view during the braketing sequence. At first I thought I'd reject the ones with the runner, but actually I think he adds something.

Today is the start of a new school year and will mark the tenth year of me getting into the teaching profession. At this point in my life I can't imagine doing anything else.

This year will also mark a new chapter in my personal life as well. It has been a summer of change - some of it that was very jarring and painful.

I am happy to report that I seem to have braved the worst of the storm and I'm coming out the other side intact and ready to travel this new road. Happy Fall!

Well folks the previous image was from the pond to the rail, and the start of the shake, rattle and roll behavior which is what I came for. A friend captured an image that I was trying to replicate and did so 10-times over. If it were any other species I would not not invested this much time and effort, some yes but not this much.

Thank you very much for visiting, and have a great day.
