You have to see it at maximum size to appreciate the wonderful detail my Canon 100mm is lens and 5D MK II has picked out

Have a look at the stacked image of milky way processed in deepskystacker with 23 individual images of 30 sec exposure each at 1000 asa and f/3.5 taken with nikond80 manually.

This is an impressive octagon stack. It was behind St. Joseph's Hall. Anyone have any idea what this complex was, back in the day?

St. Joseph's Hospital--Deer Lodge

Origin: The Hospital was established the latter part of the 1890's by the order of Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth, Kansas. It was a general hospital, with a nursery to care for children on a boarding basis. The hospital accepted unmarried mothers three or four months prior to their due date.
