I did not have a chance to take any pictures until almost all the boxes were delivered. We made 90 boxes in total! So this picture really only showed a drop in the bucket.
The gift shop is designed in a stackable block, sitting on rail.

I made these spindles out of 1/4" thick maple purchased at Lowe's. Center spindle is a bottom whorl, all others are top whorls. Some of the spindles have thin washers separating the stacks of wood.

South Stack lighthouse is on it's own little island. The best time to visit is during the bird breeding season when the daunting cliffs are crowded with Guillemots, Puffins, Kittiwakes and Razorbills.

Out Stack is little more than a rocky outcrop, and is uninhabited. It has been described as "the full stop at the end of Britain". Travellers would not encounter any further land masses between Out Stack and the North Pole if heading directly north.
Stack theme week #3 - the Elements
i had a hard time finding fabrics that fit with this theme, as i didn't want to be too literal in the interpretation of earth, water, fire, wind, and sky. i started off with the middle fabric (a vintage feedsack that reminded me of fire), and went from there.
