I saw this little chap while eating breakfast and luckily I had chance to grab the camera.

This cute little American Red Squirrel found a nicely lit spot on a downed tree trunk in Jasper National Park to snack on its favorite food, the seeds of a spruce cone.
This little chap, seems to be missing some teeth, one at the top on the right and another bottom left. Doesn't seem to be stopping it eating, it soon demolished the nuts I put out or it!!
Top day out photographing red squirrels. Unfortunately the weather was wet although it seems it was nice everywhere else! Had to shoot at iso 3200!
This poor little squirrel and the others seem to have been rubbing there nose on something?

Wiewiórka (Sciurus vulgaris) stojąca na tylnych łapkach i rozglądająca się dookoła.
I would like to thank everyone who take the time to view and comment on my photographs it is greatly appreciated and encouraging
The Gray Squirrels like to climb around this dead tree, mainly to reach the bird feeders I think. So to capture a different view, I put my camera on a Platypus (a flat tripod substitute, google it), strapped to a tree branch, and used a remote trigger on the camera.
This is about all I, can shoot these days, unfortunately. I have been stuck at home without my Jeep since the first of the year. A couple of U bolts on my rear springs gave way and shifted to rear axle enough to cause the yoke bolts on the rear universal to break and I dropped the drive shaft which ruptured a brake line, etc. Needless to say, some major damage! My son Gordie and I have all the parts together finally and hope to get it done this weekend. Luckily, Gordie has a friend that has a lift in garage so he doesn't have to work outside!! Cabin fever has set in, I can only shoot what my backyard provides so my posts will be a little sparse>
Roadkill squirrel for breakfast anyone? The young eaglet seemed plenty happy with it. The last 2 pics are a week later when the eaglet was testing its wings. It has now fledged successfully.
This squirrel seemed to be enjoying her lunch so much that she didn't really care that I was standing close by.

Had a very good week last week in CO if getting a lot of work done makes for a good week. Didnt get to bird or photo to speak of. Took one very nice walk one eve and did see at a distance lots of migrants and the local birds were in the early spring mode. RA says I picked up some color but I have no idea how. We went from 8 to 5:30 each day and from 7:30 till 10 a couple of the evenings. We did finish up a 16 hour course about leadership competencies designed for webx. Very interesting and educational process. Distance learning is here and will be even more so in the future.
The downside is I took a total of 9 pictures. BTY for those of you who who haven't updated your pass ports or are getting your first. You will need a birth certificate from your state not the one that was issued by the hospital. What a pain in the you know what this has become. We have plans to go to BC in July and are in hopes that our new passports are here.
Stops by for a drink of water.
Thank you for taking the time to view my photo, and for the faves and comments you make, thank you.
