This species is an introduced species in the western United States and is taking over most cities in the west.
We wandered upon a man feeding the squirrels at the zoo. We were surprised how friendly these little animals were. We were also a little curious about the man who nonchalantly said that he had been bitten 53 times by the squirrels as he fed them another treat.
I've never had a squirrel on my (second-floor) balcony before! But apparently this chunk of birdseed was too much for this guy to resist, so he pigged out.
I went to the park with sim + jenny + fed nuts to the squirrels, sim got bit by one, it was pretty funny.
This little squirrel was ver cute and rather accomadating, letting me get quite close. With all those berries ofn the floor, something tell's me it was rather content!
sabbietage and me also went to check the squirrels out after Turner Contemporary opening. We almost had the place to ourselves and the squirrels.

Tehidy is the largest area of woodland in West Cornwall. Now managed as a Country Park, Tehidy has over 9 miles (14.5km) of paths and 250 acres of peaceful woods and lakes to explore, together with a café and a picnic area.

This squirrel regularly used the tops of walls at the lodge to work his way to the boma for nuts stored in a large bottle which he regularly dived into and extricated himself from.
