Squirrel on Limb; Copyright Sarah Rodefeld; wildlife; small mammal; fox sqirrel

this squirrel posed for me while I shot it for nearly 15 minutes. He would get in this position and start beat-boxing and punching his paws at me. It was pretty fun...

This is one of the two squirrels that taunted me and the dog from the trees while on my weekend walk.

Went to see the squirrels today as not been up to see then in a while. Saw quite a few.

Eastern Gray Squirrel, Okeeheelee

These squirrels are in a walk-through enclosure where you are able to get very close to them. I find these squirrels very beautiful, in fact quite stunning - they have attractive tufts on their ears during the winter months. We found them incredibly clean and were amazed at how very sharp their nails were.

Rutherford, the camp squirrel.

Walking home from work. There's an alley alongside someone's home where passers-by throw their cups on the ground. They eventually put out a garbage can, and now the cups go in there. So does this squirrel.

Entertaining tourists at St. James Park

This little fella found some old Easter candy I had apparently left at the bottom of a garbage bag full of wood scraps on the deck. Squirrels running on that much sugar AND caffeine cannot be a good thing.
